The Living History is a separate camp close to the battlefield which displays a reenactment of a soldiers camp during the English Civil War. All members on the living history site must be in full kit and representing a 17th century soldier or civilian.
Living History is open to anyone to take part in and many pikemen, musketeers and other arms of the armies take part in addition to their battlefield reenactment.
Whilst it is mandatory to remain in character whilst the site is open to the public you are not expected to remain so once the site is closed and many members use a tent for show and then stay in the comforts of a caravan on the plastic site.
Lindsey’s company have a tent which is suitable for Living History as well as several pieces of cookware.
